I haven’t posted in a while…
because I have really been working hard at getting the “She” ready for company. While SHE is almost ready, I still have a few finishing touches which include septic for the commode and sink.
With that said,

May was my month for bunco…. So on the 30th I realized, I only had one day left. An impromptu bunco party was held in the “She.” Instead of bunco, I had a little project set up for my friends. We sat and drank a little Vino and Beer while, we all colored and created a self-portrait. I thought it was fun and the LADIES did great.
The project we did at bunco

was first tried out on Morgans second grade class. It was just the right project before school was out for the summer. The kids did amazing work and I thoroughly enjoyed the day. The only draw back was that we laminated them. Since, oil pastels are used in part of this process some of the art work melted in the lamina-tor. They are still good. Just more abstract.
This was Morgans before it was laminated .

I wish I could take credit for coming up with the self-portrait project but I cannot. I found it on Pinterest, (smallhandsbigart.com). I like different art and I like stuff that is original to each person participating. Plus, it gives me a chance to discus color and the color-wheel especially with my younger participants.
